Most interesting feature: Spellchecker support!
Also the menu is now visible by default, but you can enable the autohide functionality in the View submenu.
It's a "language support" update: new post language settings, translation, etc.
Also, if you're using the Electron build, update to the last one (1.7.0) and get spellchecker synchronization when you change the language in the post editor!
Kennt jemand noch eine Alternative für #Sengi für die Verwaltung von mehreren Accounts bei #Mastodon? Sowas wie Tweetdeck? Ich finde Sengi schwierig, weil man nicht weiß, in welchem Account man sich gerade befindet und welche der Spalten was gerade anzeigt (es fehlen die Überschriften). #Followerpower
Anyone else using @sengi_app#sengi as a desktop client and seeing the same toot show up multiple times on their home feed? Seems to always be 3 times for some reason...no more no less...

I have an issue with #Sengi ATM: the "media-viewer" element shows below the columns, meaning that I can't see/interact with media.
The same happens with the "meatball/falafel" menu on posts (to copy link, etc).
When I check the CSS, though, their z-index is supposed to be 9999999, so I'm not sure what's going on... anyone has had a similar problem? I'm using #Firefox 116 but this has happened from time to time in older versions (though not that often)
Random #fedi question, what sorts of desktop clients are people using? #Sengi is the closest I've found to what I want but I've been having some issues with it lately. #fediverse

Testing @sengi_app devel branch with multi-language support. This might definitely become my new prefered desktop client since I can have several accounts seamlessly displayed at once.
Nach einigen weiteren Tests mit #Sengi und den Reaktionen auf meinen letzten Post zum Thema, habe ich mich nun persönlich für #Whalebird entschieden. Das Fediverse ist vielflältig und divers. Jeder wie er mag.
Whalebird - ein Fediverse-Client für alle gängigen PC-Betriebssysteme nicht nur multi-Account-fähig, sondern auch multi-Plattform-fähig. Ist in der Lage schnell auf alle meine 4 Fediverse-Kurznachrichtendienste (#Akkoma#Mastodon#Friendrica#Firefish) zuzugreifen, ohne wesentliche Bugs einheitlich darzustellen (Timelines und alle Listen) und in allen Grundfunktionen zu bedienen (Posten, Antworten, Boosten). Sogar mit einem übersichtlichen Interface für kleinere administrative Aufgaben (z.B. Profile, Listen).
I have just noticed that Sengi has LibreTranslate built in to translate text from different languages to the one is selected as the default language in the settings 😎. Kudos 👍 for using an a FLOSS solution for translating instead of the more mainstream google translate. 😄
