As you see: it was quite wintery up there, with snow and wind, and a little bit of sun 😎

Complaining about public transport is trending, but I have to say it works well in and the Tirol-Südtirol-Trentino.

Yesterday we took the 🚡down to () with the family, then the 🚈 to () to the natural science museum and with the EuregioFamilyPass we paid a measly €9 for us four!
3h of dinosaur skeletons, all kind of animals, kids experiments, 5 floors, palm house, ... great!

The MuSe museum in Trento (Trentino, Italy) offers five floors of natural science information and experiments.
Thermal image camera offers some fun for the kids and adults.

For todays you get a sunset view from one of my all time favorite huts, the glorious Becherhaus/Rifugio Gino Biasi al Bicchiere - a hut build on a 3200m high mountain, formerly sitting between glaciers and looking at even higher mountains.

It's and we fulfilled one of our dream. What a weekend, what an experience... we were indestructible 🤠

We climbed Ortler (3905m, also called Ortles), the highest mountain in , in the region of , and the former Austro-Hungarian Empire.

We had great weather, a great company, and an astonishing panorama.

Lenkjöchl Refuge was a very pleasant stay, cool , simple hut with a very chill keeper.
Visit it if you can!
Together with Clarahütte you have easily two of my favorite huts just one day hike from each other

Crossing Finailspitze on our way from Rifugio Bella Vista ( ) via Hochjochferner (glacier) to Martin-Busch-Hütte ( ) with my younger son and a trainer from our local Alpine Club in July, 2016.

Below (SE) Finailspitze we visited Tisenjoch/Giogo di Tisa, where Ötzi, the Iceman, was found as a mummy in 1991.
