Quick game of #7Wonders Architects with Medals expansion. Love the fact that this game is indeed "quick" - my wife & I completed in 25 min after getting the kids to bed. And I lost by just 2 points! 😥

Some #BoardGames that I played in the last days. We went to a friend’s house yesterday to introduce them to Fit to Print. We also played some Carcassonne junior with their kid. At home we played Wandering Towers and Quacks.
Half of the clear plastic ghosts box painted up. Knowing how quick and easy they are, I'll smash through the other half of the box when I only have a couple of hours to spare.
Played a few games of #TuringMachine this morning with old man Tarzan keeping me company. The standard difficulty challenges were enjoyable, but the harder verifier cards are confusing and throwing me for loops. (I believe that they only verify one criteria for the given challenge? Not sure…) Regardless, puzzles are good for the brain!

I'm in a hotel for one night for work and packed a few solo games. I haven't played TM:AE in a while so I decided to play it first. Wow, I forgot how brutal it can be. I was nowhere near completely terraforming Mars before the rounds ended.
Abschluss des längeren Spieletages war noch ein großes und drei kleine Spiele - somit vier #Brettspiele . Das große war Arnak, welches wir mit der Erweiterung der neuen Leiter und den Charakteren gespielt haben. Ich habe, um es kurz zu sagen, versagt. Ich würde abgeschlagen Dritter von drei, da ich meinen Charakter nicht richtig nutzte (oder nur bedingt). Zusätzlich könnte ich kaum Karten vom Markt kaufen und mir fehlte irgendwie immer ein Rohstoff. @brettspiele@boardgame#boardgames 1/4
Nach so einer Lobhudelei nun das nächste #Brettspiele zu erwähnen? Ja, aber was sein muss, muss sein. Denn es habe nicht nur #brassbirmingham am #brettspielwochenende gespielt, sondern auch die Neuauflage von #shipyard , einem #Suchy . Wir spielen als Besitzer einer Werft und müssen Schiffe zusammenbauen. Lange, mit vielen Aufbauten versehene Schiffe bringen viele Punkte. Protipp : trackable - alles andere macht nur Frust
Card game where you want to avoid tricks. You must follow suit, but if someone discards another suit, you can follow that suit too. The suit with the most cards determines the winner. If you play the highest card of the suit, the suit no longer counts.
This sounds confusing, but it's straightforward and smooth in practice.
We played with 6 and it worked very well, although you'd have more control with fewer players and a larger hand.
