Loving this Garden theme. the #ASCII#visualizer is very fun to play with. Different characters have a very different aesthetic.
I like this old #Macintosh Chicago #font. The colours and #typeface really change up the vibe. I'm pretty happy with where this is heading. I really wanna play a good projector show with this.
One man's journey to peace and freedom on the Appalachian Trail
With breathtaking descriptions and humorous anecdotes from his 2,176-mile journey along the Appalachian Trail, Paul Stutzman reveals how immersing himself in nature and befriending fellow hikers helped him recover from a devastating loss.
@robindlaws On-line the choices are simple: Georgia for headers and Verdana for body text.
For print it's more complicated. I'm partial to Sitka, but it seems a bit too formal for a lot of things.
For science fiction gaming, one obvious choice is Optima for headings and Univers for body text, or more likely, free look-alike fonts. Science fiction gamers who are also #font nerds will understand.
For other writing, it's a deep dive into font browsing.
Airbus open sourced their new cockpit font. Make it the default for all your embedded projects, because it's REALLY good and has real testing in difficult environments!
@berkough yeah, this looks even better than #UbuntuMono and maybe I'll switch to that font as well - if not for my own website then at least for OS/1337...
For a new game I'm working on in godot I drew a font in aseprite, how do I export that font into a font file with the exact pixel size and distance between lines and characters?
@dyani I think it's less a matter of caps or not - people like @fuchsiii would say that abolishing caps would increase readability - but IMHO a matter of #font / #typeface.
#OpenDyslexic and some other fonts really make it easier to identify letters and help people read.
Personally I prefer #monospaced fonts and I could accept either #AllCaps or regular typing as long as it's consistenty used.
We used to be able to design our own fonts and just ship the whole program in that font. And Scott Adams, Inc. said "OK, yes" and someone might have gone "wait but" and nobody heard them
And got multi styles working! Cutting it close on our #uiux , but its at a point now where adding more is easy. Anyone have a good 'dyslexia friendly' font? I'm a bit clueless on that front.
