But when Vice President Harris gave an address to announce the new initiative, she she immediately blamed the rise in anti-Muslim racism in America on Hamas, not on the genocidal and islamophobic rhetoric being perpetuated by the Biden administration and US politicians on both sides of the aisle.

Some of the drug shortages in the US are because #genocideJoe decided not to increase the allotment of active ingredient after seeing the shortage last year, and while forcing a whole bunch of people to develop a chronic illness where fatigue is a major symptom, part of the drug shortages are because of that.
But even last year Teva made statements that they simply didn’t have the staff to pack the medication in boxes and ship it to the pharmacies.
The little local market down the road from me regularly hangs a sign at the front door telling people some of the departments are closed because they don’t have the staff. They encourage people to work sick there it’s disgusting.
The local gas company couldn’t keep staff, they don’t allow Customer service call center employees to work from home, because of the high turnover someone screwed up and misapplied payments to a whole bunch of people causing an excess volume of phone calls. And they didn’t have anyone to answer the Customer service emails, because they make people go into the office where they get sick.
oh I forgot to add that the pharmacies here close on the weekends now, and they aren’t open 24 hours anymore, I would have to drive an hour and a half to get a 24 hour Pharmacy.
Where do you live that you don’t have staffing shortages anywhere? That’s kind of amazing.
oh I edited this to add that there’s also a veterinarian shortage here, I’m not sure exactly why but it’s been on the local news a couple times. Last spring I got on the waitlist for a new veterinarian, they recently called me so I guess the list moves fairly quickly as long as your pet is not currently sick.

Among other vol work, donated monthly, hosted months of weekly phonebanks that were often at capacity, moderated volunteer slack channels & coached other texters, and hosted a staffer for about a month. The volunteer zoom calls were always jam packed and tons of volunteer events in other neighborhoods were ongoing all over my city every fkg week.
But you're absolutely right if what you meant was that not all of us volunteered for Crime Bill Joe when Bernie dropped. I certainly fkg didn't and would feel like a massive 🤡 if I had.
Trump is already talking about using the Insurrection Act on his first day in office, if he is reelected, to put down any civil protests. I can’t stress this enough. No matter what you think of Biden, his age, his policies, he is no dictator. He believes in democracy. We cannot let Trump anywhere near the White House again.

The GOP has introduced a bill to EXPEL Palestinians from the United States. I cannot read such things without remembering what happened to my own family after Pearl Harbor. After we and 120,000 other Japanese Americans were incarcerated in prison camps for years, without charge or trial, my own mother was very nearly expelled to Japan because of racial prejudice and hatred.
