Over 10 years ago, this weird little plastic lens came on the market. For Nikon and Canon. I used the Nikon version with my Nikon F3 and Fujifilm S3 Pro. It was the Holga Lens Turret. A pinhole camera with 2 removable turrets for special effects. It wasn't on the market that long, it's a shame cause it is fun. They never made one for Fuji X but that is not stopping me from trying it out on the X-T5 using a Nikon AI to Fuji X adapter.
Another #solarcan puck that missed the sun; or rather there wasn't enough sun to burn through the relentless grey of this week. I thikn it rotated at some point two because the outline of the houses is duplicated but at 90 degrees. It might be a rubbish #solargraph but it's a rather nice #pinholecamera photo I guess
Silly fun with the eclipse this morning. A steamer basket, colander or anything with a pattern of small holes will cast a shadow filled with mini eclipse shapes.
Even the shade under trees can cast shapes of the eclipse by acting as a multitude of tiny pinhole cameras.
Another solstice approaches so it's time to release another six month pinhole camera exposure. Here's the view from my office window twixt December 2022 and June 2023. The trails are the path of the sun Love the ghost effect of the summer vs winter leaves. Also note the change of curvature of the sun's path between summer (curved south) and winter (curved north). #solargraphy#astronomy#pinholecamera
So here it is. My first ever 8x10 pinhole camera image taken on an. ISO glass plate yesterday for world pinhole photography day. This is a 4 hour exposure of the sun's path on 30th April 2023 as seen from my deck in Portobello Dunedin New Zealand. Developed under a safelight using adonal at a 1:50 dilution. #pinholephotography#NewZealand
@iangriffin 🥥 Big effin deal. My nephew has a #PinholeCamera and he could do this just as well as you if he tried.
(Apologies. In truth this is a haunting image and it's obvious that a lot of planning, skill, and work went into creating it.) 🥥
