Heck no! We're going to be true to the vision of the 1977 movie, emulating the look of cathode ray tubes and having few buttons in the front, and drab colors.

When I was a kid, TV seasons were 22-24 episodes long, and came out every academic year like clockwork, from September to May, with re-runs through the summer.

Re nostalgia: while all long-running franchises are beholden to it these days, I still marvel at the precious abberation that is #Andor. Who would’ve thought that in 2023 #StarWars managed to do something like that and outshine other franchises, most notably #StarTrek that has full-on descended into its own past, with nothing new under the sun in sight.
If you felt relieved that ‘Rogue One’ finally revealed that there was a reason that the Death Star had a fatal flaw, let me ruin another movie for you: How could there be an even BIGGER flaw in the second Death Star? [cue trailer for ‘Rogue Two: Many Bothans’]
@pezmico in general I'd recommend #StarTrek rather than #StarWars cos of having (some) ethics especially later series. Later on toddler would probably like the Borg
