My curses and hexes are always in response to something. For me it's not about causing some harm to the target, although that is part of it. Instead, it's been a powerful moment of me drawing my line in the sand. Sending a message to my brain and to the ether "You may not treat me and mine in such a manner without repercussions."
They've been moments where I take back my power and acknowledge my self worth.

Do you believe the actual spirit of the undead is brought out of its state to communion with the necromancer against its will? Necromancy differs from regular mediumship because with medium ship are are asking for info or opening up to receive, and with necromancy, you are doing a ritual to bring them.

Whenever I get a cold and then start to feel better, I like to do some cleansing. I've been doing what I call “air-cleansing,” I don't know if there's a better word for it. Basically, it looks like me going down to the lake and standing with my arms outstretched, like a lunatic.
As I've talked about before, I'm not great at visualization, so I use other sensations whenever possible. The feeling of the wind whipping around me, pulling my clothes, stealing my breath, makes me feel refreshed and new. It's easy, then, to let the breeze take away that grungy feeling of staleness that comes with being sick in bed for a few days. I don't know whether to consider it witchcraft, but it's something between magick and mundane.
So I'm just livid. Yesterday, someone from the DNR contacted me to inquire about our Walk in the Woods for witches & he said, "Cutting down plants and removing them from the woods is illegal." I was like, "What? We aren't doing that."
Now I'm jumping through hoops, sending pamphlets that we're handing out to this guy so he can "approve" our walk in the woods after we've already rented a shelter.
