Three cables under the Red Sea that provide global internet and telecommunications have been cut as the waterway remains a target of Yemen’s Houthi rebels.

Washington says the cables were deliberately cut by the rebels to disrupt the global internet, but maritime experts believe it was an accident.

These cuts affect 25% of the traffic flowing through the Red Sea. The route via the Red Sea is crucial for data traffic from Asia to Europe.

CNN spoke to three Israeli whistleblowers who worked at the Sde Teiman desert camp, which holds Palestinians detained during Israel’s invasion of Gaza.

All spoke out at risk of legal repercussions and reprisals from groups supportive of Israel’s hardline policies in Gaza.

“They stripped them down of anything that resembles human beings,” said one whistleblower, who worked as a medic at the facility’s field hospital.

Israeli military invaded the city of Jenin, causing widespread destruction and violence. They seized goods, wrecked a monument, and destroyed critical infrastructure.

Amidst the chaos, a teenager was shot and three men were killed by a drone strike.

Witnesses told AFP that the forces used bulldozers to destroy roads in Jenin and its refugee camp. In recent weeks, the Israeli occupation forces have escalated their raids.

Israeli settlers broke into and invaded the private residence of a Palestinian family in Hebron, occupying their outdoor space and casually smoking cigarettes.

This intrusion has been a repeated occurrence in recent months, with settlers aiming to intimidate families and coerce them into vacating their homes.

There are 451,000 illegal settlers in 132 settlements and 147 outposts in the West Bank, along with 230,000 in the occupied East Jerusalem.

The Israeli army's spokesman, Daniel Hagari, said he spoke to Chef José Andrés, the founder of World Central Kitchen, to express his "deepest condolences" at the airstrike that killed seven members of the aid organization.

🇮🇱 An Israeli airstrike on a car near Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, killed two Palestinian journalists on Sunday, who were out there on a reportage.

Hamza Al-Dahdouh and Mustafa Thuraya worked both as freelancers. Al-Dahdouh was the son of the Al Jazeera TV station's chief correspondent in Gaza. A third freelancer was wounded.

The Israeli Defense Forces did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the attack.

The Palestinian civil defence on Sunday said it has found hundreds of bodies of Palestinians buried in mass graves by Israeli forces in the courtyard of Nasser hospital in Khan Younis.

At least 200 bodies had been retrieved from two mass graves in the medical compound. As the search continued, rescuers estimated there to be at least 400 bodies.

Some of bodies found had been decapitated, and had their "skin and organs" removed.

The White House says it wants “answers” from Israeli authorities after the discovery of mass graves in hospitals in Gaza.

“We want answers. We want to see this thoroughly and transparently investigated,” Nat. Security Advisor Jake Sullivan told reporters.

Israeli army spokesman Major Shoshani said the graves at Nasser were “dug by Gazans a few months ago”.

Under international humanitarian law, hospitals and schools are protected civilian objects.

Israeli PM Netanyahu published a video statement in English on Tuesday.

He called on the "leaders of the free world" to act against any move by the International Criminal Court (ICC) to issue arrest warrants against senior Israeli government and military officials in order to put them on trial as war criminals.

"The possibility that they will issue arrest warrants for war crimes [..] this possibility is a scandal on a historic scale," he said.

The death toll from an Israeli Military raid in the West Bank has risen to at least 14. In Tulkarem, Israeli forces raided several homes and used bulldozers to destroy buildings and critical facilities.

AFP journalists saw bodies in the streets and houses hit by blasts as Israeli drones flew overhead and armoured vehicles moved through the camp.

An ambulance driver was killed while transporting injured in an attack by Illegal settlers on Saturday.

Prime Minister Netanyahu, met with a Republican US Congressional delegation in Jerusalem, which was organized by AIPAC.

"This is a battle between not only Israel and Hamas, but I would say the axis of Iran, the terror axis of Iran that seeks to put the Middle East back into the Dark Ages and to force a terrible barbarism on us all, really, the Dark Ages," he told them.

AIPAC plans to spend $100 million in 2024 to defeat progressive candidates.

"Illegal Israeli settlers" attack the village of Duma in the West Bank. Palestinians were shot with live bullets, before homes and vehicles were set on fire.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, Israeli soldiers prevented its crews from entering the village to provide treatment to the wounded.

In Oct., the far-right Israeli Minister of National Security Ben-Gvir distributed assault rifles to illegal Israeli settlers in the West Bank.

In the occupied West Bank, the Israeli military has increased its use of undercover units. Members of its forces disguise themselves as civilians before conducting arrests and assassinations.

Israeli forces infiltrate neighbourhoods when they are most crowded and turn them into battlefields.

Many of these raids resulted in the killing of several Palestinians, in what Palestinian officials have described as a series of "massacres".

The Israeli government’s policies “appear aligned, to an unprecedented extent, with the goals of the Israeli settler movement to expand long-term control over the occupied territories, and to steadily integrate this territory into the State of Israel”.
