i wonder why other devs don't seem to localize to (brazilian) portuguese. the 2nd highest country for wishlists for kitsune tails is brazil (7% vs USA 40%), and historically we've had lots of sales from brazil. i get that the price per unit for that region is low but come on that's still a lot of fans you're leaving out in the cold by not localizing your game for them

@eniko the real question is both chinese and spanish.
They're both spoken by larger chunks of population and thus by chance more probable that you'll get people Who aren't fluent, or rather don't even know at all, english language.
Chinese in particular has results, I've seen.
Some people do this for russian too as It is a relatively easy language for niches (strategy games, dark themed realistic stuff)

@miki Just in case, do you know about the chronology and strategies used?
The thing is that a non-profit organization made those libraries, with dubious moral overall involved and a lot of copyright issues that, in the case of image, pass as a gray area.
In the world of music copyright is so powerful that you can't play a copyrighted song for a charity, not to talk about non-profit.
The thing that was killing music may save it from being on the shitty situation illustrators are now.

@miki That's a funny thing cuz law doesn't work like that on libraries that can be used worldwide on music copyright issues.
This isn't the casino island dream, it's an issue that makes it impossible to put music from a country on another's country library, due to how the law on music copyright is applied globally.
That issue happened in Finland-Spain with online shopping, being Finland's classical music CDs just a bit cheaper and thus being bought by people.

I was just playing reverse 1999 again with shamane and everything and I just noticed that male representation in videogames is really fucked up cuz shamane as described by words would just seem the average male representation (beard, hot, strong, a bit dumb, funny enough, going one with nature, etc etc) but he isn't the Uncharted protagonist, and I just noticed is not like "all main characters are white buff dudes", they're THE SAME white dude from Uncharted copypasted.

Superficial internal problems, almost never troubled swapping from gentle and funny to "sex beast" killing machine, adventurous in the most invasive and obtuse way, their favourite things are probably related to the roman empire or the the British colonization, they groan a lot like they're imitating a car instead of being a human in pain unless it's a sad moment in zombie media (only sometimes).
It's pretty depressing how simple they are.

How can it be that after thousands and millions of "dude with beard" this is the first time I feel represented in a male character.
Probably is cuz they don't feel like a male character at all, just a troubled youth grown into a very pacific reflexive person, who isn't just "a dad" or "unflawed overwhelming positive dude who can have 1 breakdown of insecurity and then no more" or all of those just so masculine depictions of this characters.
Maybe is just that he isn't super white.

@batichi Yeah, makes sense. Like, the lack of meaning of "male" and "female", becoming just an amalgam of arbitrary characteristics that each one of us decide to attribute to either of them and then classify through that, instead of defining with more accurate strings of words like "kind" "rough" "airheaded" "collected" and so many more that can be into someone's definition of a specific gender.

@mariyadelano this could also have to do with the simplification of narratives and mostly the individualist buddhist-style proclaim yourself as your own entity within the boundaries of the tools we give you to do so.
It's all a bit of a mess at this point taking into account how many things have gone wild lately.
Anyways, really interested on this, and a bit sad I can't remember any book in english language ("Tu y yo, Objetos de lujo" has some stuff about this if i remember). Good luck.

@mariyadelano yeah it's been a while, that along stoicism that seem to fuel the "natural intelligent ultrapowerful prototype of what masculine supremacy" looks like.
Sometimes they're just chill people, but a lot of economists like to talk about those kind of behaviours -and- thow some anti-poor anti-community propaganda with it. Not direct fascists, quite a bit on the favourite reads of a bit too many fascists, or flat earthers.
Nothing new under the sun, just a more asiatic Übermensch.

Since it created such turmoil, the link to UnknownCheats has been removed from the disclaimer on kernel based anticheat games.

Instead, we are making it clear those games must be avoided at all cost. Don't compromise the security of your machine for some low quality F2P cash grab.

Although in terms of sound I was more attracted to thing of Dark, maybe even Severance. Dunno exactly why, probably the synths and the late snowy day.
And those buildings look so reallistically indecipherable too, just a very accurate thing to make a mood I dig.
