Try to use media descriptions wherever possible. This is mostly meant for people that are using screen readers for browsing the Fediverse.

Screen readers cannot see what’s on an image, video or GIF so that’s why we describe what’s on it and use that as ‘alt text’ so everyone can enjoy it!

  1. Strong, random passwords go a long way you can use an password manager to store and manage your passwords for you.

  2. For individual personal accounts, enable 2fa via an app. This makes it impossible to login without, the code. Please backup the seed somewhere safe that's offline.
