I'm ok. Still without power. I went out and found a place that was actually opened. Long lines to get in but I was able to get ice so my food doesn't spoil. Also stocked up on essentials (chips, avocados and wine lol).

I think it'll be a while until things get back to normal around here. It's like a war zone out there. Saw at least 15 huge hundred year old trees down, some on top of power lines.
Iโm not sure why my friends & family think Iโm in charge of the calendar, but Iโll be apologizing for it anyway, because today is my birthday, itโs Teacherโs Appreciation Week, & Motherโs Day is Sunday.
The beautiful Egyptian cotton bedspread I ordered weeks ago and was so looking forward to has been destroyed by my cat on the very first night. It's my fault. I feel like an idiot for thinking I can have nice things.
