I’m also really tired of talking about this as a Republican/MAGA problem. It’s also a batshit stupid Americans problem. I just talked to two college-educated neighbors, fundamentally progressive, and quite well off, who aren’t going to vote because “both sides say the same kinds of BS.” Argh!

College isn't what it used to be by any means. When I took my degree in '66, a bachelor degree required two semesters of a slide-rule science (physics, chemistry, biology, or geology), two years of English, two semesters of calculus and analytic geometry, and two years of a foreign language. A degree meant you knew something. College today teaches intramural sports and some marketable skill or another, eg, a lawyer need not know anything at all except law, viz. the SCOTUS.

I wish the media would come to the realization that "it" isn't "literally insane", but the man who wants to give Europe to Russia is literally, actually, clinically insane. Reporters should be calling out Citizen Trump not simply over his "mental lapses", but his long history of criminally insane behavior, which includes rape, fraud, and the people he murdered by his intentional exacerbation of the covid pandemic.

Just say it! Citizen Trump is insane. What's he going to do, sue?

We (the US gov't) has long been on the wrong side of the LAW in Palestine. The Geneva Conventions were ratified by Congress and are part of the US law code as a result. The Geneva Conventions give occupied countries the right to resist military occupation by any means necessary, so for decades the US has been breaking its own laws by supporting the sadistic Zionists' military occupation.

Keeping a Zionist on as Secretary of State just asks for trouble in the Middle East.

I see they put lawyer and political adviser, John Podesta, in charge of advising Biden about climate change. I'm surprised they didn't hire a famous football coach or maybe a 4 star chef or Grammy award winner to explain atmospheric physics and the Earth's heat budget, along with the effects of greenhouse gases.

I kid you not. John Kerry, by virtue of his Navy training, actually might have known something about global warming, but it's a sure bet that Podesta is a scientific empty pocket. Obviously, Biden thinks global warming is a PR problem. Let's face it, lawyers are taught absolutely zero science in law school. Nada. Nothing. They're even taught to deny science in courtrooms to win cases for their clients. Lawyers are intellectually completely divorced from physical reality.

There is no reason to support any of the governments in the Middle East, including Israel and Turkey. The Middle East offers us nothing at this point but an expense and an international political headache, because we are now totally fossil fuel independent and we need the ME for absolutely nothing.
