Funny - where I want to be seems magical, where I am seems ordinary, and when I get somewhere I want to be, it is still ordinary.
Maybe my sense of wonder is dampened by a lack of selective serotonin reuptake inhibition?
Ah, if dangling a shiny imagined time in front of me keeps me putting one foot in front of the other, maybe it's all good.

@NigelTufnel @eyesquash @L0wKey I heart fuzz! The one I use the most is the BBE - a Fuzz Face clone that is dark and wooly! The Malekko is a Superfuzz clone with an internal scoop switch and the Mastotron can be starved to spit out gnarled velcro.

@NigelTufnel @eyesquash @L0wKey I’ve had a few muffs/clones and so far I like the EHX Ram’s Head and yeah you can easily put it anywhere in the signal chain. Pretty cool with a Screamer in front too. Moar Fuzz!

    Propaganda works by virtue of human psychology. The doom loop is addictive and the promise of simple solutions to complex problems is seductive.

    The rage factories (Fox, MSNBC, etc) and their experts who self-promote on SM profit from stoking anger in the echo chambers.

    The lines between entertainment and news are awfully blurry and so are those between online/offline media. It's hard to be a self-aware information consumer while awash in a deluge of data.

    @flockofnazguls @kel @MatthewKay Yep. Turning anger and conspiracy theories into advertising dollars. And the more money Big Social Media makes, the less convenient our democratic institutions become for them. Ugh.

    @Robotron I saw Black Flag and better yet Greg Ginn’s band “Gone” opened for ‘em. The bits I don’t recall, I make up (like any good witness!) but I’m pretty damn sure they played “I Can See You”, a strange and lovely tune!
