Per AP re: Ohio Issue 1 protecting reproductive rights, "Harris used the win in Ohio to call for Congress to pass a bill restoring the federal abortion protections that were lost after the reversal of Roe v. Wade.

She said in a statement, “When they do, President Biden will sign it into law.”"

I know many of y'all don't like him, but hold your nose and vote for him. He's going to be the Democrat candidate. The other choice is fascism. And taking a vote elsewhere, while is your right, is a deadly choice until we can stomp out the christo-nazis.

Some key races to watch:

Ohio - Issue 1 - this will enshrine abortion rights into the state constitution.

Mississippi Governor - Brandon Presley (D, yes THAT Presley, thank you, thank you vrry much) has a real chance of winning.

Kentucky - Andy Beshear (D-incumbent) re-election. The opposition supports and is running on supporting the current near total ban on abortion currently on the books. This ban only has support of 12% of the population (per NBC). This ban only allows abortion if not getting one will kill you. Full stop. No exceptions. The current poll has them tied.

Westminster, Colorado City Council - deciding if Trumpers or sane people will run the Denver suburb (where I happen to live).

Mike Johnson having "the least enemies within the conference" is not exactly a vote of confidence. What's the over-under on this guy lasting as long as McCarthy?

Considering that McCarthy got ousted for daring to pass a continuing resolution to fund the government, don't hold your breath for getting anything accomplished between now and January 2025.

Vote for Democrats in November 2024 and every election.
