I went to the book swap shelf at my train station and took the first book I saw cos I needed something to read on a long flight.

And it's a perfect book. I love it. It's called City of Thieves, and it's by a man named David Benioff.

The name sounded familiar even tho I was sure I hadn't read him before. Turns out he's the showrunner for 3 Body Problem and Game of Thrones.

Love your work, Mr Benioff. Love your work.

If, in the manner of Groundhog Day or Edge of Tomorrow, you had to relive today until you "get it right" how many iterations do you think it'll take?

(For context, it took Bill Murray a few thousand iterations in Groundhog Day, and it took Tom Cruise a few hundred goes in Live Die Repeat.)

Today is my wedding anniversary. 11 years. Over the past 2 years my marriage has been falling apart. Today we're estranged, locked in a custody battle.
