Have you ever written anything entirely in the second person? I've a couple of short stories come out this way. It's hard to properly wrap things up unless its some sort of vignette/ slice of life story.
Well. Built a prototype and found a bunch of ways it didn't fit as designed so time for some design revisions. Question at this point is whether I commit to a final build or do a second prototype.
@alfvaen Viva! la Woman is a great album of theirs, with a bunch of food themed songs that are not really about food. Stereo Type A changes things up a bit and is probably their best work. I wasn't aware they'd released another album after their reunion tour. I'll have to check it out.
@ralph058 I met a lady who had a leopard as a pet. It was a strictly indoor animal, and more like a big dog than a cat, but it still purred if you pet it right.
Me at the start of my Kickstarter, vs Me at the end of my Kickstarter.
Well that was a ride. I didn't anticipate being hospitalised halfway through my campaign, but we're funded and I'll have my first book available through Ingram Spark for everyone in June/July.
More tests today! Heading into radiology for a biopsy. Just a little one, with a long, thin needle. I'm sure it will be great fun and entirely problem free.
This ain't no render! The book is a reality, or at least the first proof from @ingramsparkbooks is a reality. You'll have to wait about a month to get your hands on your own copy. I'll post the sales link once I have the Kickstarter fulfilled.
@wendypalmer The paperback is red and the Hardcover is blue, encoring people to collect both printings for completionism. I had a couple of people order both. I haven't had the physical proof of the hardback, yet, but I'll make a video of those when they arrive, too.
Boredom is the worst thing about being in hospital. If you want to add a spike of excitement to my life you can jump on over to Kickstarter and back my book. Or just give this a boost.
@Skyye I'm very "lucky" with this one as the treatment path is very clear and highly successful. A pulmonary embolism is clotting in veins around the lungs, making it hard to transfer oxygen from the lungs to the blood. I go on blood thinners and presto! no more clotting. A lot of tests to try and determine WHY the clotting started, but I'll be back to normal very quickly.
