44100 Hz or 48000 Hz for ?
Personally I usually go with 48000 Hz because it somehow feels more "natural" to me than 44100 Hz (as half of 96000 Hz or a quarter of 192000 Hz). Made my life easier a few times when I wanted to for too.

@amadeus Went for 48k a while ago because a friend of mine suggested it's more flexible. Never asked why and now I just use it out of habit 🤔

I hope you read the forum post about the stable update. A lot of people using KDE had problems. I guess they've been "surprised" by the rolling release concept 😂

I meanwhile will slowly replace the remaining Manjaro machines with Arch Linux. It's super easy (and you're lazy) to install with the archinstall script anyways these days :)

Manjaro as a project gets a lot of things right, but I'm at a point where it's not providing me any benefits over vanilla Arch. It's the little differences between both of them that get annoying over time 🤔

Isn't the "reply guy" label usually meant for condescending/arrogant kind of replies? Like mansplaining etc.

I do agree in general - if you don't want comments and replies in general, a blog is probably the best option.

    I saw the other day that German state Schleswig-Holstein is going to switch to fully . Which is great and hope it works out for them.

    Having set up a fully (F)OSS (desktops, apps, servers, etc) IT env for a large non-profit, might I suggest proper enterprise support instead of a lone coffee-addicted sysadmin who tries to keep systems together with hopes, prayers and duct tape? 🥲

    @Gina I think if you use both #LibreOffice and #onlyoffice you can cover basically kinds of documents. It's such a shame that OnlyOffice has telemetry/tracking baked in though :/

    A very interesting #plugin #vendor asks me about a recommendation for a #reliable #laptop with a super #stable #operatingsystem as a base to be able to reliably package their plugins for #linux. What would you recommend? Maybe something like a #starfighter or a #framework or something more mainstream like a #thinkpad and probably running #ubuntu or #fedora? They are completely new to #linuxaudio but willing to go all in. ✨🌟

    Random thought, but how often do you usually require room service in hotels? Usually I hang the "Do not disturb" sign because I don't think it's environmental-friendly and necessary to have fresh towels every day.

    I also do not make a mess in my room to really require cleaning... so yeah, it's usually included in the hotel price, but I rarely need it, especially with short stays 🤔
