I was on skates for a time over 10 years ago, but fell badly.
Didn't break anything (most derby parents who put skates on usually do), but couldn't walk for 2 weeks.
I decided I liked walking more than skating so I stopped.

It's important to recognise when to stop. I was trying to ref but just terrible all round. I use different skills to help out now.
Our daughter, however, is at the top of her derby game.
We'll all be at TGSS again this year.

    The whole time I have used Discord on linux, the voice call audio has been terrible. This has persisted across installs, laptops and distros - Ubuntu, EndeavorOS, even pure arch, all the same. Before joining a call, everything is fine, then all audio (even outside the app) sounds incredibly compressed and low quality. It seems this only happens when wearing bluetooth headphones (sony) and is fine with inbuilt speakers.

    Does anybody else have this problem?

    You're not going crazy (at least not for this reason)
    My Sennheiser HD450BT pair had the same problem while using Discord connected to my Linux Mint laptop. Same problem while doing the same on my Pixel 4a.
