Provided by @gamersgrass the base was prepainted, I just added some tufts and a laser cut plant, it’s simple but cool, and they may have won me over

Second night for the #bloodbowl7s rookie league. Lots a fun was hard left and right, bombers flattened orcs, a skaven with a stiletto stabbed wood elves left and right, vampires and werewolves were going at each other in the sequel that #Twilight needed, and wood elves beat up Lizardmen with no remorse.

Loved hearing them exchange enthusiastic stories post game.

I've been working on this a bit today. I'm going to add lots of colorful smoke and bubbles coming out of the cauldron. I'm a slow painter, but I'm sure I'll finish before witch season 😉

Yesterday evening was school #WarhammerAlliance and I got a boy and girl to paint #bloodbowl gnomes for me. I also did things with a pla printer that I should not have done but let's not talk about that.

I also restarted the skin and carapace on my #JeanSteelersCult mutants. Please tell me what you think of this shoulder so I can decide.

I’ve been adding to my dwarven themed again – and this time I’ve made some doorways (with interchangeable doors).

As is usual with most of my stuff, it’s all made by gluing paper printouts to bits of cardboard :)

I'm finally making good progress on the Vyrkos Blood-borne from #cursedcity .
I'm quite happy with the fur and hair considering the scale.
I attempted NMM on the swords, but I was not happy, and I already tried a lot of new things on those models, so using regular metallic paint.

a lot of packages came in today, including an ultrasonic cleaner, some paint blitzer all the way from britain, a box of tea, the stuff for my corsi rosenthal box, and in the picture, a third edition battletech box set, unpainted, with all fourteen minis, plus another 13 metal minis (some require repairs, one is missing half an arm, and all require stripping) some of which are painted not at all poorly for their era. Good freehand spade symbols on a couple of them.

My first models, I think. Cloaks are gradations of contrast, and technical paints.

Those gorgeous bases are so full of details I went with a just nuln oil and agrax wash approach to contrast the vivid greens, with the occasional splash of colour or metallics

For a one-session-and-done I'm pretty happy.

@Moah it really is amazing to have the space to spread out but I don't know that I would again for mental health reasons - I need to be able to close away things and have an uncluttered living space. When I bought my first place I didn't think I was ever going to have kids, couldn't stand the idea lol. Then something just changed and voila. Never been particularly well off so I make do and I am happy with that. I think I've posted it before but I think I make very do with my cupboard space

Flying Kroot.

For my personal army/collection.

From my understanding, Kroot can take on the attributes of what they eat.
Therefore if you feed one enough winged food, it should gain wings...

Also, if a Kroot's arms were wings, how would it hold a rifle?

This is my answer.

Feathers were sculpted from epoxy putty.
Feet were cut off and a rifle with the hands conveniently spaced, was attached with minimal alterations to the legs.

Final set of photos of the flying kroot conversion.

While the outer feathers are painted with reference to your average bird, I painted the inside of the wings a bright yellow so they could use it to dazzle the enemy or maybe even a mate.
