The Democratic Socialists of America released a spreadsheet of the number of members compared to population in the area.

Whatcom County has the 5th highest density of DSA member in the entire United States. The chapter we organize has capacity to make change and is a great place to learn and reflect on life.

We are the socialists of the North and we come in numbers 🤺

Yesterday evening I stopped into a new local record store's grand opening party, and was pretty surprised to see this in the bins after they'd already been open for six hours.

The condition is slightly rough, even by my low expectations, but there are no skips so far on side a. Mostly just excited to have found this in the wild.

After walking hand in hand for the last time, across the bridge at midnight, she left that life of flashes behind, all her sisters in tow. She remembered that her spine had tingled as she switched her lipstick to something more soothing, and she’d smiled as that last roll of film floated down the river and out to sea.

As she stepped outside just now, it was early morning. Her head turned as the sun was coming up, so bright. She wondered how she ever got here really, as she made her way to shear Dolly, not far from sharp blue water coming in where she lay.

She got an alert just then about her digital imaging technology, hitching a ride to the international space station. It’d just made her sisters another million. She shivered and whispered, “take me up till I'm shooting a star.”
