This morning NBC’s Blayne Alexander brought us “Trump supporters” (again). Each one of them smugly recited every stupid Trump narrative that FoxNews advances every day. For the life of me I cannot figure out why we don’t burn that fake-news organization to the ground. They are literally eating our nation alive from the inside out. And spare me first amendment apology. It was NOT about protecting organized lying for fun and profit.
“Lawyers for #Trump have filed another appeal in the hush money/interference case to challenge the trial’s judge’s order denying him from arguing he has presidential immunity.
Trump’s attorneys also challenging Judge Juan Merchan’s “refusal” to recuse himself from the trial and a previous ruling related to how dockets are made publicly.” #legal
🤔Gee, who owns the #RNC? Oooo, ooo! Pick me! I know!🙋🏻♀️ 1/...

BREAKING: Republican National Committee files lawsuit alleging that #Michigan's voter rolls are outdated and the state is in violation of the National Voter Registration Act. The RNC wants Michigan to purge voters before the November election.
A cataract is growing in my one useful eye. Thanks to the extremely unusual physiology of that eye, it is degrading my vision very rapidly; I'm noticing the change from one month to the next. Soon I'll have a somewhat risky surgery to deal with the situation.
Obviously, none of this is fun. But, that being said, I do have to admit that this is the most beautiful disability I have ever experienced. 🙂
“When the #Alabama Supreme Court ruled that frozen embryos are considered children under state law, its chief justice had a higher authority in mind.
By citing verses from the Bible and Christian theologians in his concurring opinion, Chief Justice Tom Parker alarmed advocates for church-state separation, while delighting religious conservatives who oppose abortion.” #IVF
@theusasingers - It’s not insane when you stop to consider that the Media Industrial Complex is dominated by a half dozen greedy corporations that do not give a damn about our country. It’s all about profits and ratings and executive compensation. They’ve learned that sowing division and hatred serves their goals much better than simply reporting the news to the American people in an objective manner.
Gerrymandering is certainly a factor. Why allow The People to select their representatives when you can allow politicians to select which people they’ll represent? #Corruption@Yoshi@skykiss
I’ve been a Bernie supporter for decades. Why? Because he’s one of the few Washington politicians with the courage of his convictions, and he is able to push back effectively when it counts. He’s a force for Good in Washington. Having said all that, when it came down to voting, I went for Clinton. @GreenFire@GottaLaff
You know, when I look back on my life, I think it is utterly fucking amazing that for most of it, I had to literally argue with people as to the actual EXISTENCE of racism in this confederate ass hellhole. My whole fucking LIFE in white spaces. Holy hell. It's hard to be sane in this bitch, I'll tell you that.
Republicans are mad that Democrats didn’t tell them that Rep. Al Green would get out of his hospital bed to vote against their sham impeachment. They’re so used to winning elections by suppressing the Black vote that they think it’s a trick when a Black person actually does vote.
Jeffries: It’s not our responsibility to let House Republicans know which members will or will not be present on the House Floor
