“Jacobs suggested to “Emma Woods,” one of his alleged alien abductees, that she buy and wear a chastity belt to block space creatures intent on breeding hybrid babies.”
And that’s not the weirdest thing in this article #ufos#xfiles
Unsurprising... "Conspiracy theorists working for and within the US government are perpetuating myths about #UFOs that millions of taxpayer dollars are then spent looking into, a 'self-licking ice cream cone', according to the Pentagon’s former chief investigator of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP)."
'It only takes one to be real and it changes #humanity for ever’: what if we’ve been lied to about UFOs?
The continuing lack of transparency about #UFOs in the US is causing concern not only about the existence of #aliens but about the psychological fallout of uncovering a #conspiracy#religion#et#extraterrestrial
My guess is that we don't know what we're looking for with #UFOs. (#UFO)
Everything I've seen in this space assumes a parallel line of technological development to our own. But even among humans, technological development is, at best, uneven, developing differently in different societies. So how do we even have the first idea what to look for with extraterrestrial life, let alone that which may have visited this planet.
The simple fact is that we don't. And it's hubris to think we do.
Do I believe in #UFOs? Of course. Any flying object that's not identified is, by definition, a UFO. That would include spy balloons, drones, space debris, meteorites, military ordnance, or some weekend pilot in a Cessna who forgot to turn on their transponder.
Do I believe that UFOs are piloted by intelligent beings from another star system who have figured out how to travel faster than the speed of light? Of course not.
I enjoy a good Star Trek rerun, but I realise it's not a documentary.
Recently, Tucker Carlson posted an 18 minute video story on UFOs over at the hell site. He interviewed Rep Tim Burchett (R-TN) with a focus on how the "deep state" has hidden knowledge of UFOs and free energy systems (violating thermodynamics).
It's pretty much every UFO conspiracy rolled into one short video. Aliens, MIB, Zero Point, Area 51 crash retrievals, etc.
I think this is a play to draw in the UFO community into the GOP voting coalition. There are millions of people who ascribe to UFO conspiracies. This has been fed in with television programs going back decades. So the audience exists long prior to there being a party seeking them out as a constituency.
The more fringe material is just as conspiratorial as any of the QAnon and Pizzagate stuff. So it fits in with their Bannon messaging model. Irrationality is feature, not a bug.
Now I say this as a UFO witness. And I think the material published by the NY Times, gun camera footage recorded by Navy fighter pilots, is likely real. The Navy did declassify it and release it to the public.
So my question here is not about the reality of the phenomenon. It's about what is the GOP doing here?
An old high school friend of mine was recently diagnosed with an easily-curable form of breast cancer.
However, she says that chemotherapy just "isn't her".
So, she's going down to Mexico to get coffee enemas and vitamin C intravenous infusions. And if that hasn't worked after 18 months (aka, after it's too late), then she'll reconsider conventional treatment.
Mexico has some pretty elaborate scams.
Anyhow, have you heard about that new proof of #UFOs?
@seachanger@rxbrad I don't completely disagree but maybe seeing the post and disagreeing with it means scrolling past it or maybe with luck they would second guess seeking an alternate, unproven and likely unsound treatment.
And yes, people often are helpful AND hurtful, there is no can't there.
But what we have here is someone trying to deal with his pain and you jumping onto his post. If you are that much in disagreement, scroll by it or block him.
Partner and I were watching #UFOs this evening over the UK. Anyone have any idea what might have been active over the UK? We just seeing Elon's space junk? Or do we need to dig deeper?
Nothing in the news about UFOs. I've seen weird stuff before and as far as this goes it was... pretty benign, just some strange movements and lights passing over. Just been curious given the odd government focus on UFOs lately. If I were writing fiction, they'd be doing so to get us ready for something.
(I don't think they are. Governments aren't great at keeping secrets. We'd know.)
@KentuckyConjurer My mom had a detailed story about seeing flying saucers one time in southern Indiana or Ohio. Everyone in the car saw the same thing.
