We are making no progress in stopping the . This is no longer a scientific fight but a political one.

Climate denial is the obstacle to the development of political will in the US to try to do something about it.

Considering that the UK reduced their CO2 emissions by over 5% in 2023, I'm not certain that statements that we're "making no progress in stopping the " are going to help provide people with the confidence that they should make the effort to help get more

It would seem to be more likely to add to the problem that is causing apathetic whining with no actions.

@GreenFire The Keeling Curve is the fundamental indicator of our actions against the climate crisis.

@GeraldKutney
Actually, carbon emissions are, but I'm not going to argue with you.

This physicist has had too many arguments with economists.

GeraldKutney,

@GreenFire Carbon emissions are calculated. The Keeling Curve is a measurement.

Satellites can track CO2 emissions in real-time, leaving polluters nowhere to hide using physics.

Ok right here is a huge problem!!

Climate scientists and advocates need to organize and reach an agreement to work to together rather than fighting each other over this sort of thing.... because this only creates confusion within the public and weakens public pubic opinion and resolve to fight for climate action at the polls.

@Snowshadow @GeraldKutney
Ha ha ha, climate scientists and economists have fought forever, but this was just me putting in my two cents on the way he phrased his Keeling Curve post.

Just for the record, yes until we achieve net zero our atmospheric CO2 will continue increasing unless we start capturing a lot more carbon dioxide and sequestering it and we are a long way from having that infant industry being able to do that.
