I’ve never had my ears pierced, I don’t do my nails, and I wear makeup maybe 3 times/year, so I KNOW I’m an anomaly… but whenever I see the sheer QUANTITY of earrings and necklaces and jewelry and lipsticks and nail polish and blah blah blah being sold EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME, I can’t help but think about how it would be so much better for everyone and the planet (in the #climate crisis context) if all of these things ceased to exist. (I’m not advocating for this or anything! Just overwhelmed.)
