@mick you and me both. I came here mainly to replace Twitter, which I use mostly for work, promoting open source projects close to me, and some memes/fun. I have more followers there, and while I’ve had some good conversations too, it felt more like people competing for attention than something actually social.
Mastodon isn’t going to replace that… and the longer I stay here, the more convinced I am that it shouldn’t. I’m really happy to be here.
