@DavidPB May I ask which zone you are in? I used to start my leaks and onions indoors in February in zone 7b. But they never get very big during the season. So I'm thinking about starting them even earlier.
@DavidPB Interesting. So in England you traditionally start them in December? I mean, it's not like Tomatoes that need lots of space and light very quickly. Maybe it's worth a try here, too. Which light level and what temperature do you keep them in after germination?
