Verify then trust. Goes for pretty much everything that Meta releases.

releases FACET, an benchmark tool to evaluate the "fairness" of AI models that classify and detect things in photos and videos, including people.

BigMcLargeHuge,

I think combining the word "trust" and the company Meta is an oxymoron.

@BigMcLargeHuge Except that all the LAMA stuff is actually good from what I've seen.

BigMcLargeHuge,

@ppatel

I don't doubt the product. I simply continue to doubt companies that have given me multiple reasons to doubt their integrity.

@BigMcLargeHuge That's why I said verify then trust.

BigMcLargeHuge,

@ppatel

I agree with verify, but I'll never trust them.

Change happens and unless you're verifying every day, trust will be lost.

It's how they operate, sadly.

GL with the tool. I see it's use and purpose.

@BigMcLargeHuge I'm not saying that you trust the company but trust the tool after verifying.

BigMcLargeHuge,

@ppatel

Again, good luck, since the tool is made by people we can't trust. :)
