I'm new to this discussion, sorry if I start at the beginning again, but why is it such a problem if Meta comes to the fediverse? After all they can't buy the whole thing. They would have their instances, so what? From my point of view that might be a good thing, because more people would join the fediverse which would strengthen its relevance. People like me prefer to get news from all over the world instead of a smaller bubble.
@Em0nM4stodon Yeah, i thought it was going to be this Autumn. But I forget they have lots of $$$$ to throw at this, and they want all the Tw ppl+. Ugh. 😩
