Generally issues with federating from all of them. This may be due to needing more capacity. All of them are working to add capacity.

So, #kbin fans you are all getting a ringside seat in the software development laboratory. Normally this stage of a project would play out with a structured testing process using a chosen set of early-Beta testers. Bugs and feature requests would get prioritized and knocked off one by one until it was deemed ready for a broader audience. Then the process would repeat with a larger test pool.
The #RedditMigration has create a huge demand for this capability, and #kbin, which is only a few months old, is getting much more attention than it would normally get for something so fresh brand new. So, it is going to have bugs and it is going to be difficult to scale, and it is going to have missing features like good moderation tools.

@ernest@jerry@supernovae@stux You are doing great! Don't burn out. You also need to sleep. All reports say it is a solid foundation. You will get there. We believe in you.
So, don't despair when something doesn't work, or an instance has to go down to add capacity. We are building this thing together. Every bit of hammering on it you do is vital to development. The engineers will fix these things, but we need to be patient and help with the process. In the end, this is our network. It's our #kbin. It's our #Fediverse. And we will break the hold of the data overlords. We will prevail, because we are free and believe in each other.
@mastodonmigration@ernest it might be worth #kbin adding a banner to the top of the site for the software explaining just how early-stage it is, it could mitigate some brand/reputation harm with users when things go wrong (when not if)
It’s long past time we take control from those that see us as walking profit centers. They build themselves on our backs then act like they set off the Big Bang.
The Internet is for all of us, not for a few people choke and control at their whims!
And an even bigger issue, is that our data belongs to us, and we can’t allow big corps to continue acting like using their services means they own us, and we better comply or else we get nothing.
