@Adorable_Sergal The book’s text is online and it’s faintly menacing: “FORTH cannot be compared with other programming languages. While you are learning to program in FORTH it would be better to forget all you have learned about other languages.”
@Adorable_Sergal Apparently, FORTH is a language for real, well-endowed, manly men, not wimpy cucks with micropenises. Only those who can hold up a giant block of granite while kneeling on a keyboard key are worthy.

@Adorable_Sergal decades ago, when I was a programmer, there was an acronym: RTFM (read the f**king manual). Is that still a thing? I don’t think there are any manuals anymore.
@BenVernia manuals are more difficult to come by, which makes the ones I own all the more cherished, but manpages still exist, so mentally I've shifted to the 'M' being 'manpage'
