How does everyone know how, when and how much they're masking?
As a late-diagnosed , I struggle to differentiate between "me but masking" and "me but in a diff situation".
Now that I know I'm autistic, I even miss the person I used to be in some situations before I knew.
I used to call myself a "social chameleon" - I just changed automatically to suit the circumstances.
But who actually am I and what is just a mask?

Glad to finally see something of the Labour manifesto for the upcoming election. While it's not the bold vision I'd like to see it has key aspects that I'm pleased to see (NHS, education, devolution, green energy). Not sure why they can't be bold about taxing wealth (vs income) and other fundraising but I guess it's a start. And Starmer does sound "sensible" which I suspect will win over a lot of people.

Building a camera drone fast enough to follow an F1 car around a track.
It's a shame the final lap was on a wet day, as the lap following Liam Lawson is more impressive, but the images from Max's lap are no less spectacular.
Watch him balance the slide and acceleration in standing water in a way you've never seen outside of driving simulator games.

Executive functioning strategies aren't all or nothing.

No amount of reminders, visual cues, gamification, etc. is going to work every single time.

A successful strategy is one that gets you to do the thing MORE OFTEN than you would without it. Not one that works every time.

Today I ran the first of what will be monthly afternoon cinema showings. The aim is to reduce social isolation, improve community cohesion and give people somewhere warm and welcoming to attend. So we're keeping ticket prices low at £5, including tea and coffee.
We had over 80 people attend this first event and many incredibly positive comments.
I'm sooooo chuffed.

How likely is it that a application will be turned down when it’s business vs domestic?

We’re next door to a proposed very large extension which resulting in several additional windows at the 1st floor which will overlook our garden & we’ll lose what privacy we have.

@hobbitswife Domestic planning applications are more likely to be turned down if there are reasoned objections, based on planning law, from neighbours.
Privacy can be a reason if gardens and windows in the area have privacy from other buildings.
