@Em0nM4stodon@Mrfunkedude Another little-known fact: you can dismantle and reassemble a Rubik's cube in such a way as to make it impossible to solve, which is a fun trick to play on Rubik's cube wizards who are too trusting to expect subterfuge. 😆
@tanquist@Em0nM4stodon@Mrfunkedude Pretty sure I was an early pioneer of hacking the Rubik's cube. I've since applied this to every other area of life.
@Mrfunkedude
I can usually shoot skeet without missing one. My father in law and his friends lost some money betting on it one day. I shot 47 in a row before somebody else wanted to turn. They also won't shoot with me anymore.
@Mrfunkedude Before arthritis, I could take a match out of a box and light it using only my toes. I can still catch things that fall off of a table before they hit the ground, most times.
@Mrfunkedude I've lost a bit of this limberness during injury-caused inactivity, but when i'm keeping myself moving better, i can sit on my knees and toes, with knees and heels together, butt on heels, and lean backwards until my head is resting on the ground behind me. it's quite a nice quad stretch.
Mine is showing people how to make pretty decent scrambled eggs in the microwave.
I'm always surprised at how many people don't know how to use a microwave to cook.
The first time I told my girlfriend she didn't believe me until I made her some nice pillowy soft scrambled eggs straight from the microwave.
She was dumbfounded. She thought microwaves were just for re-heating. I would go on to show her how to bake potato's, cook corn on the cob, and other things.
