@mastohost @BeAware oh it was in jest. I think 4.2.4 removed favourite and boost counts from the UI in individual toots.

@devnull Well, you are running 4.2.5, not 4.2.4 :P

I don't know what jest is. The web interface looks good, so can't think of a reason why it would break on another place.

The interface is not broken, @BeAware and I were talking about those counts disappearing from a recent Mastodon update, and speculating on the reason why

@devnull 😂 sorry, my english is deeply flawed 😛 Glad all is good with the web interface.

I haven't notice any changes in the way counts have been handled by Mastodon. They were never accurate for remote content and that has not changed :) https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/issues/11339#issuecomment-518029618

@BeAware @devnull But that is not actually wrong on my end, I just install the Mastodon code provided by the Mastodon dev team.

But AFAIK the counts have not been shown in most timelines for a few versions but the Explore timelines still do.

@mastohost @devnull yeah, that's what I mean. Just confirming my issue. It's not next to the buttons on main timelines where it used to be🤷‍♂️

You're right, though it's probably since 4.2.X

Edit: attached example shows how the count used to be visible directly from the timelines next to each button. Its not like that anymore.
