@RickiTarr the cool thing about Korea was there were no specific breakfast foods - or at least: anything Korean you could eat at breakfast was also an option the rest of the day. (Western cereals etc have ruined this a bit I reckon)

When my PhD supervisor said he’d like me to spend a year in Korea for language training, literally the first thing I thought was “Korean food 3 times a day 😋🤩🥳” 😂

I avoid carb-laden meals because I am diabetic and I don't want to return to taking meds...some carbs are necessary but the traditional North American breakfast is not good for diabetes and isn't healthy-- boxed cereal for example =too much sugar and too many carbs.
Homemade muffins and oatmeal are much better!
@RickiTarr I’m in Singapore at the moment and Asian breakfasts are the best. I start with a bowl of congee and then have a bowl of noodle soup. Yummmm.
