And nearly everyone should be responsible for putting away their own laundry. One should only ever have themself to blame for being unable to find a piece of clothing in their own wardrobe. (Children graduate to putting away their clothes when they graduate to dressing themselves)

@RickiTarr Honestly one of the best habits I've developed over the past few years. I used to just live out of my laundry basket and it would take forever to put it away. Now I just remind myself that it takes about 15 minutes and then I'm done for the week.

I sometimes wish for a decent clothes-line where the wind will do the job for nowt. Clothes that have had a good thrashing in the wind rarely need ironing 😉
Until it actually goes in the laundry bag, it's an open question. Like if it's just on the floor, well, yeah, maybe the open air has sanitized it somehow. Once it goes in the bag, it needs to go in the machine.
@RickiTarr Yes, folding and putting it away are just steps in the "doing laundry" task. If you skip out on those, you can't claim to have done the laundry.
@Kierkegaanks They probably do! My dad would stack washed laundry on the couch until it became a mountain and then bribe us all into having a folding party, by promising that we could rent some movies to watch while we did it. Surprisingly effective, honestly.

@elverkonge@Alice Wrinkles are fine 90% of the time. To be honest, I mostly try to find clothes that don't wrinkle, but I do love a cute Hawaiian shirt
