If you wash and dry a load of laundry, you also have to be prepared to fold it, and put it away. It's not really helping otherwise.

@RickiTarr Our fix - we flat-stack our laundry right out of the dryer and it stays neat unfolded. Sometimes we stack it neatly before washing too.

@StillIRise1963 I love a little sugar, but I grew up when people cooked their own meals - convenience foods were considered unhealthy and were expensive. By the 90s kids were eating Lunchables and eating fruit from plastic pouches. The food industry really messed up people's diets. So did the plastics industry.

@RickiTarr In the video game Pharaoh, construction on monuments picked up during the floods. The farming work camps provided much of the labor but there were professional guilds too. I never completed a large pyramid because it ruins society to take so many resources for a personal monument, lol.

@RickiTarr We all used to hang out a lot. At a lot. Or the pond, or bus stop. I remember coughing, then laughing then running to get out of the cold wet weather. Just your general experience plus I was unfazed by hazing but saw my friends get bullied. Massachusetts enacted it's hazing law in 1985.

@RickiTarr I have met many people who struggle with mental and financial health that look to join studies for the meds but often they are rejected. The pharma docs want people with fewer issues, lol.

I remember when I was a kid, if someone was in therapy, people talked about it in hushed tones, like it was a shameful secret, and now people talk about it casually in every day conversation. It's good to see that things can change, even if it's just a bit.

What is interesting is so many young white men believe they are entitled to respect by birthright, and when it doesn't go as expected, they act as if society has rejected them, and completely lose their shit. They think they have a right to violent behavior, because the world is so "unfair" Meanwhile, this is only a tiny taste of what minorities deal with every day.

@RickiTarr I'm glad the protesters were there. Turning Point USA is an awful conservative activist group operating largely in college and high school campuses and thankfully looks like KR is not gonna make it with them.

Does anyone else have trouble doing one thing at a time? Like if I'm doing chores it helps to have a podcast or talk to someone, or watching TV, I need to do something with my hands, like a little handy craft, or a simple game. I love movies, but the movie has to be absolutely fascinating for me to want to go to a theater where I just need to sit there and watch. I have a large amount of tabs open on my phone all the time and I flit back and forth through a bunch of different things. Weed helps calm this down a bit.

@RickiTarr I use weed to help slow down in this way, but not until my 40s. I tried ADHD and anxiety meds, the stimulants are too strong, and weed helps my pain and 'ants-in-pants' (Akathisia).

Have you ever been laying around, and realized your arm was in a strange position, and it felt weird, so you try to move it into a more natural position, but now you're hyper aware of how you position your arms, and it all feels weird, so you start questioning whether you know how to have arms?

This also applies to breathing.
