@GreenFire Ultimately it is the voters' responsibility -- a civic duty -- to elect competent political leaders and we have one in this case. It’s consequential and important.
I hear plenty of people (not in real life, oddly, but on here, another one yet again, who say things like, "Democrats and Republicans are the same” or “barely different” and it’s a ridiculous bad-faith take.
@TonyStark@GreenFire If both sides are the same, (they’re not), then they may as well vote for a Democrat anyway. Because if they’re right, (they’re not), it doesn’t matter and if they’re wrong, then things get better.

Biden's BLM reversed course on allowing a company to explore for lithium in an area with a high proportion of endangered species on Friday. Which just goes to show that even though we're trying to decarbonize just as fast as we can we're trying to do it without as cautiously as possible despite our need for speed.
