UCI Irvine is among health care facilities nationwide demonstrating their commitment to lower greenhouse gas emissions and build more climate-resilient infrastructure.

A net zero goal of emissions helps in the advancement of climate health, improves population health, and helps improve local communities.

Diageo will be replacing its natural gas boilers with heat batteries at its Kentucky and Illinois production sites thanks to Biden's efforts to decarbonize the globe's largest economy as part of his efforts to make the world a better place.

According to consulting firm Kearney, the beverage sector was responsible for 3.8% of all carbon pollution in 2021 and is not on track to meet its reduction goals.

esearchers at Virginia Tech’s College of Engineering have turned to 3D printing with recyclable material to give wind turbine blades a much-needed sustainable boost.

Researchers at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and TPI Composite explain that this innovation won't just improve the sustainability of wind turbine technology it makes wind turbines more practical and less expensive and reduces energy needed to construct them too.

Don't let the fool you too!

Useful idiots and Republicans in general will try to use Biden's pause for new LNG export terminal permitting as a political weapn against him this year.

Except because of the European Union’s demand for liquefied natural gas, which provided a key lifeline during the energy crisis, will likely peak this year as the region accelerates its renewables transition, according to the bloc’s energy regulator.

Great news. It stands to reason that as demand grows, solutions follow.

This is yet another positive outcome of Biden’s Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act which, along with the Inflation Reduction Act, provides historic amounts of investment in climate and environmental action.

Now it's always a good time to decarbonize and the sooner the better, but unless you totally can't swing it now would be a good time to do it in order to get a quicker return on investment.

Personally, the aspect I dislike the most about wind turbines is the safety lights. I despise fossil fuel infrastructure more though

The study addresses how wind turbine influence the perceived value of homes by residents.

Grounded in hedonic valuation theory, the researchers conducted statistical estimations to discern the impact of wind turbine visibility on home values sourced from a comprehensive dataset covering the majority of home sales in the U.S.A. since 1997.

This is so, so crucial as we attempt this vital transition away from fossil fuels.

When these projects succeed, it's because developers engage early and often with communities, showing them why the project matters to society—and to them.

Projects are much more likely to succeed when communities feel the project is theirs or includes them.

1.5% of all light-duty vehicles in operation on U.S. roads are EVs already in case you're wondering why there is such a coordinated attack campaign being waged against them. The fossil fuel industry wants to continue selling their polluting products and they have a lot of resources to help keep Americans captive.

With Joe Biden in the White House and enough Democrats in Congress though they'll lose this battle for our planet's future

Global CO2 emissions for 2023 increased by only 0.1% relative to 2022. These 2023 emissions consumed 10–66.7% of the remaining carbon budget to limit warming to 1.5°C, suggesting permissible emissions could be depleted within 0.5–6 years (67% likelihood). https://www.nature.com/articles/s43017-024-00532-2

Global CO2 emissions for 2023 increased by only 0.1% relative to 2022 (following increases of 5.4% and 1.9% in 2021 and 2022, respectively), reaching 35.8 Gt CO2. These 2023 emissions consumed 10–66.7% of the remaining carbon budget to limit warming to 1.5°C.

In order to help convince more people to stop burning fossil fuels as fast as they each possibly can, it could help to point out that our global emissions have finally started slowing so there is hope.
