Hab ja echt was richtig POSITIVES zu vermelden heute morgen:
@Skepticat Same. At many frequencies. Sometimes buzzing, sometimes a sound like metal scraping - that’s usually when I wake in the mornings, then it fades, thankfully.
@adhdeanasl I've had it for at least 20 years but never gotten used to it. 0/5 ⭐️
Also Dean, that high dollar RX, if the MD office would submit a prior authorization, it may help with insurance/cost. Medical office manager should be able to help with PA request.
I had my first adjustment with the cervical spine specialist today and I noticed a bit of a change in my sinuses of all places, my right ear drained. The side that's off 6.84° is apparently pretty bad, my wife's largest number was 3.05° on her measurements. The tinnitus is still there but I've been told 3-6 months to see if the nerves will heal. I'm hoping I might sleep a bit better with everything lined up tonight.
I had my initial appointment with the cervical spine specialist today and apparently I'm all messed up. My right side is about 1/2 inch higher than my left compressing my neck and spine. The doctor asked if I ever noticed my right shoulder being higher than my left in the mirror. I hadn't but looked when I got home and it is definitely higher.
It's kinda scary how out of alignment my body currently is.😬 This will relieve some or all of my tinnitus the Dr thinks.🤞
I've heard tinnitus for years, maybe decades. It's just been almost completely fixed by my physiotherapist who has been releasing a pinched nerve in my neck to address a different set of problems. Neither of us had any idea that nerve pinches could cause tinnitus but there turns out to be lots of literature on tinnitus caused in the temporomandibular joint nerve especially.
Neither did my GPs or audiologists know about this.
#Tinnitus is complicated. My own experience of tinnitus as neurological or inflammatory suggests that anything that affects our own nervous system will have an impact on severity of tinnitus.
Maybe releasing your pinched nerve will have removed one (large) trigger for your reactions? I've noticed my tinnitus is worse if I take too many inflammatory triggers like coffee/ caffeine or get stressed.
We have the potential for tinnitus and it gets triggered
@ttpphd Might be a regional thing or just a slight variation, but I usually use something close to your second option, but say the middle syllable as more of a short "i".
Seit ein paar Tagen, seit die Temperaturen kühler werden, hab ich vermehrt #Tinnitus. Also deutlich lauter.
😬 Grrrrrrrrrrrr
I always thought #tinnitus was akin to white noise or a persistent, high-pitch whine.
I got COVID (round 4, fully vaccinated) at the weekend and my sleep pattern has been completely ruined. What was not helping was a deep, low-frequency hum, a bit like a faraway large engine idling or the low thrum of two very slightly off-pitch fans.
It was annoying me. I went around the house looking for the source.
Wow, this video has alleviated a lot of worry. I was planning on making a doctors appointment to see if it was a problem that every few days my ear has a bout of #tinnitus just for around 30 seconds or so. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/VqpyY1VAsSU
