@mxtthxw haha. Yes, some many people on Mastodon using those terms. Not a day goes by when I don't see some person on here complaining about woke. Dude is fighting the good fight.
If being woke means I care about the common good, I’m proud to be woke. The U.S. has much to be proud of but also must acknowledge injustices such as racial discrimination and extreme wealth inequality.

This is the same tactic right wing media pundits used on the word, "liberal", demonizing it by saying it over and over with disgust, like a slur.
Whenever I hear/read someone using "liberal" as a pejorative, I ask them to look it up in any dictionary and tell me why they're afraid of people who are defined as such. I never get an answer to that question from any of them.
The same goes for "woke" now. They have no idea what it actually means, but still say it with disgust.
@Wileymiller@makkhorn. As a proud "woke" person (in this new ungrammatical iteration of the term), I am perturbed by the fact that a past tense #verb has metamorphosed into an #adjective. Make it stop!
Le « wokisme » ne désigne pas un mouvement car nul ne s’en revendique ; à défaut d’être un phénomène identifiable, il est le mot par lequel on cherche à éloigner le débat sur le caractère systémique des injustices.
j'ai argué que ce n'est pas parce que personne ne se revendique d'une étiquette (l'argument du message d'origine) que celle-ci n'existe pas. Pour montrer, j'ai dit que personne ne se réclame d'extrême-droite ou réac.
que c'est le prétendu « wokisme » qui n'a pas de définition. Je n'ai pas prétendu qu'il n'y avait pas de définition de l'extrême droite ou de la réaction. @matiu_bidule
