Speaker Johnson says he believes
US INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES
On Russian Intent

“I really do believe the intel and the briefings that we’ve gotten,” Johnson said, in a moment that became a mini-speech.

“I think that Vladimir Putin would continue to march through Europe if he were allowed.

"I think he might go to the Balkans next. I think he might have a showdown with Poland, or one of our NATO allies.”

"If so, he added, we might find ourselves sending troops to defend allies from Putin later."

The Times gets something right anyway

As the lunatic Truss, beloved by her constituents (she says) and betrayed by the lefty markets, beloved of if not by Trump chunters on, a few(?) have remarked on her early onset dementia.

As with all deep state conspiracists, perhaps what Truss truly mourns is the lack of one.

For over 40 years, I've noted how I DEPLORE THEORIES. It's insane nut-baggery where zealots see "puppeteers" behind everything from "Fluoridation" to Moon Landing.

They are impervious to Facts and no amount of proof can change their minds.

And then this country elects a who spends night dreaming up wild "" rationalizations to explain away his failures & prosecution for crimes he has CONFESSED TO ("Those were MINE!")

So we just have a wholly new problem and, frankly, a hundred political appointees doesn’t even touch the sides in terms of dealing with them.”

Truss’s downfall was nothing to do with them, her own party dethroned her due to incompetence.

Ron Filipowski analyzes what Trump's outreach to white evangelicals has become in 2024, as compared to 2016. Back then, it was, "I'm not perfect, but I'm on your side and I'll deliver what you want."

Now, it's "I'm the Messiah anointed by God to take down the diabolical deep state."

And as Filipowski notes, white evangelicals are eating this up.

We live in a highly technical world, in which hundreds of esoteric, potentially lethal factors impinge on your life every day.
