French ski resort closes permanently because of snowfall shortage
Mac, Really feels like my local slopes have gotten worse and worse as the years pass. That being said, the owners continue to invest in it. They built a new lift this year.
Mudkipology, (edited ) Not that climate change isn’t a big deal, but this place only opened in 2016. Seems to me they just picked a bad spot in the first place.
Edit: Leaving this up so other people see, the resort opened in 1960 not 2016. CNN messed up.

I think the “journalist” got confused because on wiki it says the town creation date it 2016.
But it’s just 2 old towns close to each other that has been merged this year, it happens every year.

Sibbo, Ski resorts require a lot of deforested space. These trees can now grow back.
