I did read more romance and really enjoyed how the author weaves her stories together in her own world. Fun jokes, like cameos and song lyrics showing up in both series.
I can't see any overlap between my worlds, but even so, that was a fun thing to see.
I hope I can break down my block this weekend. I want to write Sun.
Wrote 400 words for Sun today, and I am very happy with that. Hope many more will follow this weekend.
I did get some downloads from Writer Brain for book #9, Spirit Sings. That was a bit of a motivation, as well. Things will get a little more complicated than I thought, but I like the added layer. (Yes, vague, sorry.)

Integrating notebooks. I make a habit of periodically reviewing the snippets of thoughts that I’ve jotted down over the years — editing, revising & releasing ideas/concepts. The Muse sometimes sends messages we don’t fully comprehend in the moment, which is why I capture whatever I can.
Slow day. Day job at the office, groceries on my way home, reading yet another book of the series I'm binging.
Finding it hard to let go of Sky - want to see him soar. But I need to shift over into Sun's mind and tell his story. He's very different from Sky.
For one, he doesn't really have a good grip on his powers thanks to a certain relationship in his House. For two, he's much more upset that he admits even to himself. Fun stuff.
Very exhausted today, so I curled up with books. First my new romance series I'm binging (one a day), and then... (this is embarrassing) I read my own West Flows.
Because I love West. ❤️
Anyway, going to crawl off to bed now. Wish I could get myself unblocked.

It was a busy day - day job, meeting a friend online, participating in a march (5k people despite the rain and a bus strike!), and somehow fixing a formatting error and uploading files again.

I'll sleep in tomorrow, and then I'll turn to Sun and write his story (Sun Burns, Pillars of the Empire 3).
Had some inspiration for Penumbra 2, and I read through what I have of Sun Burns, which is the book after Sky. It's good, but I need a bit more plot.
Spent time migrating my MailerLite account, so I can keep sending email. And I'm fiddling with that authentication thing for email that's new in February. Gah!
Once I have that done, I'm hopefully out of Frazzletown. I really want to get back to just writing.
Took care of one more frazzling thing today (yes, even though it's Sunday), read through what I have of the spicy shifter story and realized it still needs quite a few more chapters.
