Watched #RebelMoon from Netflix despite the very bad reviews from:

Overwhelming pathos, extremely exaggerated bad guys (no women on the dark side as it seems) with not a single aspect to relate to.

Most obvious: lots of stuff from great films like #SevenSamurai (Akira #Kurosawa), #StarWars, #Frankenstein, ... and even #DemolitionMan.

You could play a drinking game: whoever spots a commonly accepted reference to a movie first doesn't have to drink, everybody else does.

Vorsicht: Artikel ist voll mit Spoilern!

Er beleuchtet auch die Dinge, die im #SciFi-Film gezeigt wurden und sich mittlerweile in die Realität geschummelt haben.

Btw, der gleichnamige Ending-Song von #Sting existierte bereits vor dem Film und war auch Inspiration für die Filmemacher. Allerdings wohl einer der schlechteren Songs von Sting IMHO.
