Can anyone imagine what could be causing a profile to throw errors when trying to post an image via and via a mobile browser, but not have any issues posting the image from a desktop browser?

So the problem I have with most Mastodon apps is that they're not really respectful about vertical space.

Tusky and the web UI aren't as bad, but a post with a photo will often take up the entire vertical space on my phone with Megalodon/the official app/Moshidon.

Below: Tusky vs the official app.

The same post in the official app. No other posts are partially visible.

steven,

I bought just to test it for this thread.

It's almost as compact as Tusky, but I've discovered that having it auto-truncate posts can actually make them take up more space?

That is a bad design choice, @apps!

I also haven't found an option yet to do the compact header like with Tusky. So that's a wasted line of text on every post for now.

Same post in Fedilabs, truncated. One line of next post is visible.

Are there any alternatives or respecting apps similar to ? I want a reader where I can save webpages to read later and possibly organise my bookmarks better. Most of my bookmarks are articles and documentation.

In the app, also on your profile, I can click "block domain"

I don't know if this message reaches the Mastodon developers, we need a translator! (Android)It would be great! @Mastodon

Use or the browser version.
Doesn't work for all language combinations, though.

More good news!

(@apps) is adding Calckey support with the assistance of Calckey devs!

The really is getting more exciting!

queenslight,

@dragfyre @fediversenews @atomicpoet @apps Sadly though if using a screen reader such as by , the interface has it beat.

Action menus (that being an Android feature), helps greatly with replying, boosting/rebloging, etc, making it more the while useful, especially if using a Bluetooth keyboard.

NB. I bought from Google Play.

It’s not a bad app! navigating’s messy though.

One feature that I would like to have in apps is to group the same post below multiple hashtags in my home timeline.

Currently, if I am subscribed to a few hashtags that overlap and someone uses them all in there post, I see the post multiple times in my home timeline under different hashtags.

It should be grouped or only showed on e if I post included multiple hashtags that I follow.

Yeah, for me to. does it less, but does show a post multipke times if it has multiple hashtags that I am subscribed to.

I am using when I am busy with threads and to control my bots because they have better thread capabilities. But when I am just browsing and replying I use
