I think I will start a thread here as a sort of diary.

Starting at #FrOSCon, I have started to try #openSUSE on my laptop. As a #Debian Developer, I felt reluctant to try something else, and Debian is a great project.

However, as I am teaching openSUSE at Linuxhotel, I thought I should maybe get more familiar with it 🤣. Also, I had already fallen in love with #zypper.

If you are keen in following the pros and cons I discover, take a seat!

Last week parts of the #MobileLinux community got together at #FrOSCon and, dare I say, had a great time in our "FOSS on Mobile" devroom 🌈

Throughout two days we had some hacking, lightning talks, workshops and BoFs!

Saturday morning I had the pleasure of welcoming around 5 people (at 10:00 in the morning!)

Hab mich gestern beim #froscon Social Event lange mit Leuten über #veganismus unterhalten (wieder mal nicht von mir initiiert...) und eines der Argumente war: ich hab Angst was zu verlieren.
Das konnte ich sogar gut nachvollziehen. Aber let's be honest - man muss gar nix verlieren!

Hier gibt's heute #veganes Zwiebel-Hähnchen aus Sojaschnetzeln, überbacken mit ner dicken Käseschicht aus Hefeschmelz & der Instant-Käsesauce von Würzteufel statt Mehl, das Ganze auf Nudeln geworfen. Richtig gut.

Shortish impressions from #linuxday

I've took an early enough train so that I would be able to attend the very interesting talk about #libcamera at 10:00

Of course having arrived at the premises I quickly scouted out the stands, and immediately met with some #Debian friends and noticed a huge, but friendly #linux penguin wearing a #froscon shirt :)

My fist talk of the morning about libcamera was very interesting. Bin am Überlegen bei der diesjährigen #FrOSCon einen Vortrag einzureichen. Überschrift wäre "Als junger Admin im öffentlichen Dienst - Wieso tue ich mir das an?"

Ein mit Absicht provokanter Titel. Ich würde im Vortrag über Vorurteile im öD reden, zudem was in der IT im öD gut und was schlecht läuft - undzwar erklärt von einem Insider wie mir eben. Bin diese Idee aber noch am Ausarbeiten.
