There remains a significant but falling premium for UK #graduates, in part be due to access to the #professions whose degree requirements remain pretty robust.
However, its also worth noting that non-degree employment seems to be shifting into high(er) skills, albeit at a gradual rate (replacing 'over-qualified' graduates?).
Does a slow shift to highly skilled non-degree holders indicate the success of #apprenticeships?

...must be gargantuan, the hundreds of thousands high-school #graduates that did not go to #college due to these prohibitive tuition costs, have cost the #US#economy dearly in know-how not obtained and lost taxes on higher incomes never earned.
