In addition to Mirlo, I intend to get my music up on Faircamp, Funkwhale, Jam Co-op, etc.
But it took more time than I expected to get established on Mirlo, so when I went to the Faircamp site and saw a completely different setup that looks even more complicated, my brain was like NOPE. DRUGS ALL GONE. NOT ENOUGH BRAINS LEFT FOR TASK. :AAAAAA:
Trying to figure out how to describe my music. A contemplative Katy Perry? A guileless Caroline Polachek? A more pop-y AURORA? A not-as-talented Kate Bush? :scremcat:

All these years later… still a fun as hell #80s pop record.
One of my five or so preferred pop albums from that decade. “Space Age Love Song” is an incredible song, and it’s not even what this record is known for.
In case you thought George Clanton did not have enough bangers as part of his solo project and as ESPRIT 空想, you should listen to the band he was fronting before he went onto that stuff :3
Shoutout to @officialflear for purchasing my track Holy Grail on this #BandcampFriday! Thank you for being awesome and supporting your fellow musicians! I appreciate you! :BigBlobhajHug:
ATTENTION: There are still 4 hours left for #BandcampFriday, where Bandcamp waives there 15% fee so that artists get mo' money!
Bandcamp goes by U.S. Pacific Coast Time, so even if it's already Caturday where you live, you can still purchase #music through Bandcamp and the artists will still get a bigger cut (minus taxes and PayPal/CC fees, ofc).
My vocals are often compared to #KateBush and it's so flattering but I cannot compare to her so I wonder if I should lean into it or deliberately work on NOT sounding like her.
Also I will probably never be able to sound like #Rihanna no matter how much I try. 😭
#BandCampFriday yes, but meanwhile it’s also #NewRelease day for us. You may have noticed that we releasing tracks which are part of a July album. Nonplussed alert. The new single has tracks that are not on the album. The B-side almost made it, but was cut for time.
Two fun tracks about extraordinary (and fictional) people. The A-side jangles and the B-side imitates a 60 year ago Dylan intro and even older Bob Wills interjections.
"Midnight City" is a song by French electronic music band M83, released as the lead single from their sixth studio album, "Hurry Up, We're Dreaming," on 16 August 2011. It became one of their most popular tracks, known for its catchy synth riff and saxophone solo.
Pretty much #Pop as the A-side evokes the 1960s James Bond Title Song style to our own leaning to the John Le Carré formulation of that world. (Yes, me for Shirley Bassey is admittedly a poor trade.) The B-side takes us to the US Southwest of the movies.
We like to use it for early availability. Before appearing at the streamers, it’s there on our page. Two “sided” singles for June, July, and August, and the tenth album, “Constructivism in Blue”. You might enjoy something from “Too Lazy for Words: An Instrumental EP.”
Before Caroline Polacheck was giving dominatrix ted talks to late night audiences, she was doing squid face dances in mint body suits as part of Chairlift.
A moving song about the endless-and-yet-ending relationship between child and parents, hugged by mellotron over a driving drum and tense saxophone. Merrill's incredible voice fills up everything.
"We all have doubts.
We all have rage.
We all have trouble being brave enough to turn the page.
