Just wrapped up my first week as #ResearchOfficer for #ANU Vice-Chancellor and President Genevieve Bell - and wow am I already learning a lot and meeting some amazing people 😍
First task: get the VC office up-to-date on #women & #leadership. We now have a woman in charge 👏💖💅
2023 was an awesome year! Started with a new job and then the adventures just kept coming.
There were concerts! We saw Alestorm, Beast In Black, Dance With The Dead, Delain, Gloryhammer, Lutharo, and Visions Of Atlantis.
Conventions! We went to FanX and MineFest.
Hiking! We hiked to an giant metal paper airplane in the mountains, Native American pictographs in a canyon, and in the redwood forests of California.
Road trips! California, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, and Southern Utah.
The kids got to visit the ocean for their first time, and my first time since I was a teenager. There were hot springs, an eclipse, a crazy wet winter for us, and lots of Dungeons & Dragons.
Ik had mij dus kandidaat gesteld om teamcoach te worden van mijn team. Maandag is het sollicitatiegesprek gesprek. Gisteren te horen gekregen dat het eigenlijk geen sollicitatiegesprek meer is, maar gewoon een gesprek om af te stemmen, want de job is al voor mij ☺️☺️. Mijn andere collega wordt teamcoach van het team in Brussel, dus we krijgen beiden wat we willen.

Thank you for all the thoughts and good wished. Today I had a successful #firstDay of my #NewJob. Having a degree in #Physics means never really knowing where one is going to land, but when you find the right employer who needs a broad range of knowledge and does something amazing that no one else does, there are some really cool jobs out there.
Ich suche ab nächstem Jahr, bestenfalls so Anfang/Mitte, einen Job entweder im Home Office oder zwischen Leer und Bremen (max. Kiel) im Foto-/Gestaltungs-/Medienbereich. Gern auch Fotostudio oder an ner Uni alte Dokumente digitalisieren oder auch Reportagenbegleitend - bin da sehr vielseitig, auch gestalterisch.
Meinetwegen auch "Scheinselbstständigkeit" - Gewerbe ist angemeldet 🤷
One month in, sales department, prices, contracts everything is getting where it needs to be. And today, to top it off, i brought in the first customer myself.
